Course Details

Introduction

The Training program has two parts i) classroom training and ii) home assignments. The classroom sessions will be carried out where different subject matter experts will share their skills, knowledge and experience. The participants will also be given assignments at the end of each day, which they will have to complete in the coming weeks to become eligible for assessment and certification.

The training program will use different methods, mediums, tools, case studies and assignments to ensure that the key learning objectives of each of the sessions are delivered and grasped by the participants. The detailed literature of each of the sessions will be provided on the e-portal, and the assignments will be submitted through the portal only.

Learning Objectives

To enhance the proficiency of participants in the broad range of technical skills such as specialised sector knowledge on standardized and non-standardized practices
To enhance the proficiency of participants in the broad range of generic skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, and the ability to deal with some non-routine processes

Instructors

The course has been designed in consultation with different experts from the Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change (MoEFCC), Skill Council for Green Jobs (SCGJ), ex-Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) officials, and individual experts working in the field of training and capacity development of government officials in the green sector.
